A bit about me
Hi, I'm Emma, lead chartered physiotherapist
With over 26 years of experience, I’m passionate about helping you rebuild confidence in your body and achieve your recovery goals. Specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, I use evidence-based treatments and personalised care plans to get to the root cause of your pain. Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury, managing chronic discomfort, or looking to improve performance, I take a hands-on approach combining manual therapy, movement exercises, and education. My goal is simple: to help you get back to what you love—whether that’s hitting the gym, swimming, or just moving with ease in your daily life.

Personal Life & Interests
Outside of work, I love being in nature, especially outdoor swimming (the colder, the better!). I’m passionate about fitness, strength training, and the mind-body connection, which is why I make time for regular meditation. As a mother of two active boys, I’m always on the go, and I understand how important it is to stay physically and mentally balanced.
Whether you’re new to physiotherapy or looking for a fresh approach, I’m here to help you find the right treatment for you. Book an appointment today, and let’s work together to get you moving and feeling better.
Patient-Centered Philosophy
I believe that every patient’s story is unique, and I take the time to really listen and understand your needs. During our initial assessment, I’ll aim to identify the root causes of your pain and discuss how they impact your daily life. My aim is to work with you, creating a treatment plan that not only addresses your symptoms but empowers you to take control of your recovery.
I use a Cognitive Functional Therapy (CFT) approach to persistent pain management, which looks beyond just the physical aspects of pain. We’ll work together to understand how your movement patterns, thoughts and beliefs, present understanding of your pain, and lifestyle may be impacting on your pain.

HEAR FROM MY CUSTOMERS
Emma treated me for long term hip pain. She took the time to thoroughly assess my condition and its root cause.
Emma provided an effective treatment plan which included physio exercises but also alternative treatments such as acupuncture, cupping and hydrotherapy. Her extensive knowledge and experience was very reassuring to me.
